In early 2020, the Hill Country Crisis Council board decided it was at an important juncture. As a result, they needed to look both inward and outward to explore their future. In order to meet the community’s ever-changing needs and demonstrate a commitment to their clients, the board faced questions like how do we:
- Prepare operationally for aging facilities?
- Meet the demand for services?
- Market ourselves for continued growth?
- Secure the adequate resources to achieve our mission and vision?
Hill Country Crisis Council turned to the Burnam | Gray team to assist them so that they could answer these questions through a comprehensive strategic planning process.
Together, we are helping the organization dig deeper into who they are and what they do. This discovery will better position them for future growth. It also empowers them tell their story to the broader community. Our process includes focus groups, and individual interviews. And, a comprehensive materials review. In addition, we survey a variety of constituent groups, and host two planning meetings.
Finally, the strategic planning process culminates with a three-year written plan for Hill Country Crisis Council. This action plan includes strategic priorities with supporting goals and activities. In order to measure success, Burnam | Gray will also provide an annual operational planning tool and a dashboard.
